I know that this will have been covered in the club section but I still am unable to access that area for some reason (maybe works computer systems?). Anyway a couple of questions, How do I identify the engine and box I bought somewhile back, it is an 1800 Zetec complete with gearbox but I can't for the life of me remember what it came out of. Secondly I want to fit it to the Coupe in place of the CVH unit, if the engine and box came out of a Fiesta can I fit the whole lot in the coupe. I realise there will be a few bits that will need altering but what? The fuel tank isn't an issue as I will either do as some already have and open it up and fit the pump and swirl pot from a later injected fiesta or get a seperate swirl pot and a couple of pumps. When I bought the engine it came complete with central mounting member, gearbox and driveshafts, alternator, starter motor, ecu, injection system, exhaust down pipe, radiator, air filter and what looks like the complete wiring harness for the engine bay area. If possible I would like to fit as much as possible of this lot for ease of spares and also the cvh gearbox is getting very noisey.
