Thanks for these. I already wrote a small spreadsheet to compare
rolling diameters and such!

The problem here is that I had not initially realised that the offset
was different between the Fiesta and Focus wheels. That's not in
itself such a bad thing; it means that even with 10mm spacers at the
back the tyres don't stick out past the bodywork, but does make the
panhard rod location (or length) critical, as I discovered.

My main issue is at the front, though; the larger offset - naturally,
that makes the inner edge closer to the bits and bobs inside the
engine compartment - means that the tyre is interfering with the end
of the gearbox on full right lock. (The engine and gearbox is wider
than the original).

I think I'm going to have to get these wheels back on ebay and look
for something 15" 6" wide, 38mm offset and accept them sticking out a
little on the bodywork. Part of my problem is that I'm trying to get
closer to the default wheel size for the Fiat Coupe to keep the
gearing and speedo somewhere close - it's a 16/205/50 with a diameter
of almost exactly 24 inches. 15/185/55 comes out half an inch smaller
- about 4 percent - and also ends up 5mm narrower per side than the
195/55s which are on there at the moment.
