What have you sussed already? I don't think a standard Pinto bottom end will take turboing to 200-250bhp, or will it? I'm sure Cosworth uprated lots of parts for the 16v turbo in the Sapphire 2wd - I'm guessing uprated conrods and bolts, forged pistons and maybe more.
Also turbo engines usually have a compression ratio to about 8:1. Do you intend to lower the compression, or it's not considered necessary as the stock pinto is just over 9:1 (I think). I'm interested in what's involved, even though I don't currently have a car! Doug -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Quantum Owners Group" group.
