Hi all, I've had my Q for 6 months now and have had a couple of issues with it running hot, firstly only at motorway speeds (fixed by a new thermostat), then only in traffic (needed a new fan switch) so I've had a fair amount of time at the side of the road waiting for things to cool off!
What I have found is that, if the engine is hot with the needle near the red, the starter motor will struggle a lot or sometimes fail completely to turn the engine over, though it's possible to get going if needed with a bump start. If I let it cool off for a bit, it starts fine. Is this pointing to some problem, possibly a seizure?
