I would think that if it's that out of balance that there something
wrong with it.
Bent maybe ?
If it's a long solid driveshaft it should a damper clamped into the
middle of it, if that's missing or in the wrong place you might get a
vibration.
The long tubular ones don't have the damper.

Wheels are well balanced on a testing machine and yet there is steering and
body shake at 65mph. Checks seem to indicate the driveshaft on the off side.
I was thinking of trying a DIY balance to diagnose or possible cure it.
