My copy of the manual describes the mod relating to the donor seat
runners.
It says discard the rear mounting brakets by drilling out the rivets
Then describes how the runners are bolted to the floor which you can
see from what you have already.

Hello all, happy weekend
Kind of related to the rain, my seats have gone a bit mouldy and need
replacing. I'm about to get some nice wing backs on Mk2 runners. I seem
to recall that there's a mod that needs to be done on the runners to
make them fit.
Have I got that right, or was it Mk3.5 runners that were used? I seem
to have misplaced my build manual so any help gratefully received
