Once you remove the brackets the Mk2 and Mk3 runners are pretty much the same.
Don’t forget to use big (at least 2” dia) and thick (2mm) washers under the floor on the bolts. An ordinary sized washer could pull through the floor in an accident. Remove the rear mounting lugs from the bottom of the seat runners by drilling out the rivets. Bolt the seat to the floor. The carpet should be cut around the runners. The correct location for the fixing bolts has been scribed on the underside of the car floor. It is essential that the seat runners are parallel otherwise they will not slide freely. The manual make no reference to Mk3.5, so I guess it is the standard Mk2 runners that are used. Hope this helps.
