Just finished replacing the H4's boot lock barrel. Had to cut a hole behind 
the number plate to gain access to the operating rod but was fairly 
straight forward  after that. Main problem was getting a replacement 
barrel, Mk. 3's seem to be rare in breakers yards. I got my original barrel 
rebuilt by my local ford spares dept. for approx. one third new price. The 
other problem was the small plastic clip holding the rod onto the latch. 
The Ford computer doesn't show it, & of course it had fallen off mine. 
Still the lock is smoother than ever now.
