Hi all, Boot lock on my 2+2 no longer works and I can't get my boot open. Like the OP I think that the coupling between the lock and the catch has become detached as the key turns the lock but there is no release. And I can't recall what the mechanism looks like on the inside in order to try and get a coat hanger in there and wiggle. I really don't want to go boring holes behind the registration plate if at all possible. Would any kind soul please post a couple of pics of the mechanism on here so that I can see what to try and wiggle. Has anyone any experience of drilling the lock out? Would that give me enough access to be able to release it? Many thanks, Sam.
