Tbh I would have got a new cover and plate . There are plenty of options on the likes of eBay, including some luk branded ones.
A bit like getting new discs and fitting new pads to match the wear , so the flywheel . The old clutch disc will have worn to the old flywheel surface wear pattern and likely isn't biting all over now.
