I have a Cocoa app I wrote that runs Quartz Compositions full screen. Simply
set your comp to run on system start, and set the comp to open in the app, and
you're good to go.

There's a setting somewhere in the Editor. Then, once it's been fullscreen, it
will always open fullscreen, as long as it's been closed that way.
