I would , of course, favour a Debian system as default.
However, it would be useful if you could give the relative template
sizes on the current build.

As far as trimming the templates, there is some scope for this, but one
of the problems is that people want what THEY like. Look at issue 1781 for
a great example of this.

Cant dom0 be trimmed further?

I am strongly in favour of an image that fits on a DVD - would there be
any reason not to offer Fedora and Debian as alternatives if the size
issue proves insuperable?
