Why not? It probably costs more energy if you decide to boot it up each time you choose to check email, post on this forum or do a google search. Of course, the more users that use mysqueezebox.com means more powerful servers required by Logitech at their datacenter = more data center power required and more cooling needs, etc. So either way you use or contribute to the use of energy by others, still effecting the planet.
