So to make this work automatically, there would also have to be a setting where you would select if you prefer it to be connected to the local SBS or the mySB.com. It gets even more complex than that if you have multiple synchronized players, because then you want them to be switched simultaneously. Finally, you would of course never want it to switch when it's playing music unless you gives it permission, so if I've configure it to prefer SBS I don't want it to switch from mySB.com when my local server starts up if it's currently playing music through mySB.com. It should probably switch when I stop the music unless I've given it permission before that. Besides all this, we also have to throw in a wireless network that sometimes could cause connection problems and cause automatic switches. It should be said, that I completely agree with you, I shouldn't have to care which server it's connected to, it should just work. However, I'm just trying to say that doing this automatically might not be as simple as you make it sound , it still has to work good for all kinds of users.
