And some of us use wake on lan so my server is actually not there when I
want it, the controller wakes it up when i try to connect, so I would
not like that my players had "runned away" to mysb.com all the time .

So the non presence of the server can not be used as an sure indicator
to that it should conect to mysqueezebox.com .

I believe that it should need some user interaction to nudge it the the
desired way. The system can never anticipate and "guess" what every user
want's imo it should not even try. Any "auto" switching scheme would
surely result in even more complex and incomprehensibly failure states ?
