with SBS 7.4.2, 7.4.3/daily, or 7.5.0 and either the official battery or a home-made battery
1) make sure the battery is fairly well charged 2) set an alarm for 30 minutes after the current time 3) unplug Radio from the wall 4) after 20 minutes, Radio should shut down to conserve battery 5) see if the alarm sounds at the scheduled time Currently Radio will *not* sound an alarm if you turn it off by pressing the power button (by design). I'd like to know if the alarm will sound if the power goes out overnight, or if "auto shutdowns" also effectively squelch scheduled alarms.
