As a UK resident and lucky recipient of a battery I thought I'd assist and perform the test as requested.
- The SB Radio powered off (to the Logitech logo) as expected after 30 mins of being idle - Two minutes before the alarm was due to go off the SB Radio booted up and then went into standby (to the clock). - At the set time the alarm went off as set. This behaviour gives me confidence that the SB Radio will still provide a reliable alarm in the event of a power cut. I haven't tested the scenario of what happens if power is restored when the radio is powered down.
