I've said before, but not repeated myself for some time, so here goes again ;-)

Many people have different views on what should happen when an alarm starts.  
Some people only want a screen with snooze/off options; some only want a clock; 
some don't want anything special (standard Now Playing screen).

I think the best compromise would be for an Alarm Screensaver setting, for the 
user to choose the option that suits them best.
I believe that Erland produced a plugin/addon/patch to achieve this, but I use 
my trusty SB3 for bedroom alarm clock, with MusicInfoScreensaver defining what 
gets displayed, which is perfect for me.
