Please let us know if the new unit work better. Mine also hardware version 5 and has the same problems. Updating firmware from 7.4.2 to 7.5.0 to 7.5.1 not fixing the problems. I feel the display is warm after turn on for a while. I don't know if this is the source of the problem. The temporarily fix is rebooting the radio then it will work properly for a day or two. Now I just power it off every morning and turn it on when I come back from work.
