I just bought the Squeezebox Radio to use as my primary alarm. Having came on here to do a bit of reading up about it I'm now panicing because everyone is recommending to NOT rely on this as an alarm (even though thats what it's advertised as).
I'm hoping in my case it should be reliable but can anyone give me a bit of confidence that I haven't just wasted my money? It seems like people using wireless and using mysb.com are having problems, I use neither. I'm wired and using a local server. My server is only running SB and is set to wake itsself up every morning, this never seems to fail. Is there any reason why in this setup the radio won't alarm correctly? If the server is already awake and I've set the radio to alarm at a time after the server is up and running.
