The Squeezebox Radio must have been designed by a group of college interns or something like that. It has so many bugs, bad WiFi performance it is quite annoying. My update is after nobody told me not to... returned my SBR and got another one. Sure enough....identically poor RF performance as I described earlier. It cannot hang on to channel 10 at all... and loses connection to server. Channel 1 (slightly higher congestion via auto scan so go figure), it holds on to sever but loses sync -- and signal strength drops <50 sometimes. Not acceptable or workable. With the new SBR I retested putting it right next to my 3 antenna AP.....with 100% signal... the art work and music player do not stay in sync with what the Squeezebox server say it is playing after a while. In other words....the Squeezbox server thinks it is playing an earlier song in the playlist.......than is actually playing on the SBR! Many have complained that the firmware fix addresses this....yet I am using the latest and problem is still there. But believe it or not......since this is my kid's room....and this will likely get fixed.....I am not as troubled by this other problem than the WiFi problem. I am trying a wireless bridge next...bypassing the Wifi portion in the Radio entirely....bringing the cost of the solution past where it makes sense...... Oh how I have way more patience with this thing than Logitech deserves. Warning..others...If you own a SB3/SB2 or probably Touch (dont have a touch but have 2 X SB3s).......the Radio is from a different planet in quality, performance and reliability.....and is not a good value.
