It's not supposed to go completely dark. It adjusts brightness to the ambient light level, but it's intended to keep the display visible. It wouldn't make much sense using a clock screensaver that doesn't remain visible. > Furthermore, imagining that the screen HAS gone dark, when I push any > random button the clock does not appear, rather the last "page" of the > menu appears. This seems contrary to what I've read, that once the > screen goes black and nothing is playing, if I push any button a clock > will appear. But since the screen does NOT go dark, when the clock is your stopped screensaver, you should not have to press any buttons to see the clock. When you press a button you want the screensaver to be suspended and the user interface to become immediately active, putting you in the menus. Sounds like it's working as intended. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=94963 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
