Exactly. Mine gets so dim that I can't even read it until my eyes have fully adjusted to the dark. Even then, I sometimes have to get close to read it depending on how blurry my eyes are if/when I wake up in the middle of the night. It's MUCH dimmer than my old red LED "regular" alarm clock that had no dimming function of any kind.
