If you don't mind purchasing a system with limited future official support from Logitech and you do not mind tinkering with software and some basic DIY, then the above advice is good. However, if you want a system with future official support, want plug and play, and do not need the customize ability of the LMS software, then I recommend you look at something else such as Sonos.
Your original post said you needed to play flac files from a local sever, Sonos as well as other vendors offer products that will do that.
