Take a look at what I did with a Tp-link nano router and USB battery
brick to make the Radio portable in this post below.  It is not perfect,
is but it works.

with the WiFi 6 standard active.  I had similar problem, a Radio might
work for a few hours or days, and then drop the connection.  Turning it
on and off to reboot restored the connection, but the connection would
get dropped.  The Tp-link router solved the problem with my radio.
