My interpretation of the topic in question form is "to what degree
should you strive for test isolation through mocking and stubbing?"

I am a mockist and agree with the statement. The problem is finding
the golden combo of tools and plugins to keep the mocking and stubbing
bloat to a minimum and coupled with a good work flow. I find the "Not
A Mock" (http://notahat.com/not_a_mock) way of doing expectations
better fits my work flow, but because it replaces the standard mock
framework it can clash with other tools. Pity.

Just got to remember its prevent "mocks all the way down"
