To me it stands to reason that if you are in a leadership position in this or any other ministry you should be expected to and be able to control your hormones, thoughts etc. We all have that ability. Those who can't control themselves need to ask themselves if they should be in leadership.
I have been in church many years and I never sought leadership (Sunday Scool teacher, no one else woudl do it, guess didn't really seek it)but one time before I was mature spiritually and it was awful. Fought all the time with my husband. It was many many years before I ever attemted again to do anything in a leadership capacity.
