Shout it from the rooftop, Kelly. The men are AWOL in our churches. They'll do a "hit-and-run" church building in a foreign country (spend 10K to get there as a group - why not send the money?), they'll do a "hit-and-run" in our own backyard for another church (home missions), they'll go on golf outings, they'll go to ballgames, they'll pack the vans out going to Promise Keepers --- but ask them to give two Ranger guys (who are not very skilled in the building trades) a hand to finish a Ranger room, and suddenly you are standing alone. I can still hear the crickets chirping. One solid day with the crew that went to the foreign land to build a church and our Ranger room would have been done. Instead it took about 9 months.
