"1 tent away" or in a totally separate area of the campground? I'd like to hear more from our German or Australian commanders about how they separate the genders on camps. Obviously, they have separated the genders, so that males lead males and females lead females. So given the lack of girls in our camps because of the separation between Royal Rangers and Missionettes (see my comments below on this topic), the only reason a lady would be going on a camp-out in the States is to lead boys, which is contrary to the example provided by the Germans. >With God's help we can over come our passions to >steal, kill, mam, hurt, attack the list goes on. Absolutely, at RKTC men and women are both welcome to attend and participate fully. But those conferences are only held in areas where adequate, totally separate facilities are provided for both the men and the women. We did the same thing with NULC . . . it was not a camp setting, and separate facilities were provided for both. The first NULC we held we could not provide the separate facilities, so we had to restrict that conference to men only. That issue was floated as a trial balloon a couple years ago by someone higher up at headquarters than Rangers, and it was very quickly shot down by Thomas Trask himself (based on a flood of comments he received from the field). He said that Royal Rangers will continue to be for the boys, and Missionettes will continue to be for the girls. If you want that one changed, forget about RangerNet, or the national executive committee. You and your pastor will have to work on Thomas Trask to bring about a change like that.
