We in Russian RR usually do not make separate camps for b&g. Boys and girls
usually just live in separate tents.
OR
sometimes we make kind of villages, only for this camp. Then it could be
girlish village, and boyish village.

Anyway, I think if they are in different tents, it's enough.
And after severel years of this system your boys and girls (if they are
properly supervised by adults) will get used to that system. And will not
really care about it or feel anything special about it. That "oh boy, girls'
tent right beside here!!"

Now, what are you going to say if I tell you that there are some countries,
where RR boys & girls live in the same tent. :-))) Of course when girls
need to change, all boys are out. And there is always adults' supervision.

Ok I don't want to scare you too much guys :-)))

RR is courageous :)
