I think it goes better showing the quality of service Rangers provides. Give testimonies, salvations, etc. A good story can draw them in. Just mention that you are signing up new leaders after the service or something like that. When I hear how badly SS teachers are needed it makes you wonder why. Must be a terrible job, etc. Give exciting details of adventure, etc and the men will want to join up and be a part.  A challenge draws men in also. Somehow make it something that will challenge them to be part. Actually, let them know that not everyone can be in Rangers. Hold the apple before them. Make them pray about it and ask God if HE wants them to parcipitate.
