I did something similar but it was the opposite. I don't know the size of
your church so it may not work. I first had everybody who was ever involved
as a boy in Rangers stand up. Then anybody ever or currently a Leader stand.
Then anybody whose family members(sons, fathers, grandsons, etc.) was
ever/still involed in Rangers stand up. As are church runs about 200 in A.M.
service and we have had an outpost for many years, about half the
congregation was standing. I then mentioned how vital a ministry RR is and
how, in one way or another, it impacts many in the church.

men in the church to stand up. Then ask those that are Sunday School
teachers, already Ranger commanders, pastors (staff), in choir, deacons, and
ushers - whatever functions you want to list to sit down. The men left
standing should be the ones left who aren't involved in another ministry
that they can use as an excuse for not helping Rangers. If you kind of make
a joke out of it you won't embarrass anyone but you'll get the point across
that there are men who need something to be involved with.
