| > Does your church require its workers (paid and volunteer) to be trained in
> CPR and First Aid? All church workers paid & volunteer are required to have CPR/FA training at our church. The church pays for the instruction and it is normally held at the church. We usually have a volunteer Certified ARC instructor who does the classes. The cost for the class is only what ARC charges for the books and the cards...$15 per person. I am a ARC Certified Instructor and I do several volunteer classes for my local ARC chapter per year. This is usually enough for me to be allowed the use of the equipment without cost when hosting a class for Rangers, commanders and leaders. > Does your Section or District require Ranger leaders to be trained in CPR > and First Aid? > As will most sectional staff I neither have the time nor the staff to require ANYTHING from the leaders. I feel blessed if I can get them to show up at a prayer meeting once a month. The committed ones will do as they are requested feeling that they are serving GOD in a great ministry. The others will not for what ever excuse they can come up with at the time. > Anyone know the National Office's position on requiring all Royal Ranger > leaders be trained in CPR and First Aid? I am sending a em to the national training coor. to ask them. More info later. |
