If you have one leader that is giving 100% and another leader
is
giving 50%. Sooner or later the leader giving 100% will have to ask what's the point? That alone could be the reason some outpost lose good leaders. Noel, Your statement has a ring of truth to it. Poor
leadership can bring down those who are good leaders. But I believe it only
happens when the good leader takes his eyes off Jesus and looks at the humanness
of the others. Whenever we place our trust or goals in others, we will be let
down. This is a part of human nature. If you or I give our all for Jesus then it
does not matter what the others are doing. For we are serving in the capacity
that His grace gives. This is the context we must serve in (His Grace alone is
sufficient).
Now if the outpost shuts down, then find out what
the Lord would have you do in your local body. Maybe it is not Ranger related.
Do not be discouraged. For how can we be discouraged with our eyes on Jesus, the
author and finisher of our faith. Cheer up my friend, there are many ways we can
serve Christ in our community.
Blessings,
Bob Triphahn
