All things are for a season. Perhaps God is allowing you to look into
other ministry efforts for your life as he does with all of us at one
point or another. Due to circumstances, seemingly out of his control,
Duane has been called to work in Scouting, and it's an open ministry
field like any other. He has a desire not only to see boys be their
best, but to be a shining example of Christ's love in an environment
that doesn't necessarily have that focus, like Rangers does. God has
placed Duane & Jen in the spot where they are at because THAT is where
God wants them! Nothing better than being in the will of God!

In the last 30 years, I've come, gone, and come again in Rangers. Not
always because I'm "on fire" for Rangers like I once was, but because of
the need, and a burning desire to win the lost at any cost... occupying
my ministry efforts until God opens another door of ministry.

Not everyone stays in Rangers, but all who have been Rangers will BE
Rangers. Once Rangers is in your blood, it cannot be diluted, though
the burden to work as an active member of an outpost may be released by
the Lord on you.

I would only submit that you first find out what motivates you for
service for the Master, and then follow your heart. No problem with
switching boats... just don't torpedo the boat your leaving due to a
"new paint job" :-)

Blessings,

Parson.

You didn't misunderstand - I didn't fully explain.

I am tired. I don't have the zeal for Rangers I once had.
