I don't think it says anywhere in the bible that Mary stayed a virgin her entire life. We are told that Jesus was not the result of Mary knowing Joseph and of course it is all explained to Mary and Joseph via dreams and angels. I don't see why James wasn't the son of Mary and Joseph. Jesus also had other siblings (Matthew 13:55). I think Catholics believe James and the rest were really Jesus' cousins holding to this perpetual virgin doctrine that isn't backed up elsewhere in the bible that I can find.
I'm not really sure about the ossuary myself. I think after declaring it authenticate, most "worldly" archaelogists now think it's a fake. Some really still believe it's authenticity. I'm not an archelogist and both sides have some good points, so personally I'm not sure. However just as the term brother was used in the bible, catholics could say that is how it was used on this ossuary. -Ed > (Brief explination of bible nit-picking) > > Q?
