Personally, I never really liked the word "cell" because it makes me think
of another word "jail" I just joined a new group at my new church and I'm
excited about it. My church's Sr. Cmdr is in the Cell group. They don't hold
Rangers on Wednesdays so the rest of us meet on Wednesdays. I like the term
"Bible Study" better because that is what we do there we study the Bible. We
develop Friendships and relationships there with the focus being on the
Lord.
The JW's do it, the Mormons do it and sometimes even better than we do,
But Russell & Smith both missed the mark.
It's a tough accusation to make about a group like that. Jesus Took our
marks for us. I believe that many of the cults will try to do things as the
Christians do to try to emulate what appears to be so that they can further
their causes. Outwardly they Try to look Christian but they aren't. They
are doing a good job of confusing the issues to some poor unsuspecting soul,
then that is when they snatch them. There is no "Quasi-Christianity" The
Bible conveys the message that either your hot or your not and there is
no in betweens. God doesn't like in betweens.(lukewarmness)
