AMEN!!! Well spoken Michael. Sometimes we forget that Rangers & Youth fight
a common enemy, Satan. But not when we're fighting with each other. The
only real competition we have to be concerned about when it comes to our kids
is the enemy. Never forget that all, and I do mean all, the ministries of
the church are there to do battle with the evil one for the souls of the
world. We have to fight as a team with the other ministries. It's kinda
like arguing which is better, the Navy, the Army, the Air Force, or the
Marines. Each contribute their own special methods and skills. To win a way
it takes all branches of our armed forces fighting together against a common
enemy.
So it is with the church. If the various ministries, or branches of service,
begin to fight amongst themselves, then the entire church is weakened and
susceptable to the attacks of the enemy. Folks, we MUST remember that while
the esprit de corps of our ministry is a good thing, we CANNOT let it cause
us to fight with ourselves. Never forget that the devil is roaming about
seeking whom he may devour, and when are back-to-back with the other
ministries of the church we are all facing outwards towards the enemy.
Like I said at the beginning, well said Michael. Thanks for reminding us
again to work with each other for the common good of building the kingdom of
God together.
