    If it is not listed on the church's calendar, and if something were to 
wrong, how would the church's insurance cover the problem? Yes, it is a good 
thing to be faithful to God, but it is not wise to taunt him.  The activity 
should always be listed on the church's calendar, so if a problem does come 
up you are covered and the church (pastor) knows about the activity.  In most 
cases if it is not sanctioned in this way, if a problem should arise it will 
be you that gets left holding the bag for it.
