I think what we have, here, is a bad case of religion, even in Pentecostal
circles. By "religion," I mean a set of rituals, rules, and traditions by
which people seek to prove themselves holy -- the kind of thing that
irritated Jesus and got Him angry when He was walking the earth with us. It
is an easy trap to fall into when you focus on one verse, and forget about
whole chapters in the Bible on love and grace.

In any case, John's original question concerns a verse that, if read
plainly, is a prohibition of the sexual perversion known as cross-dressing
(i. e. putting a bra on a man). I see nothing in there prohibiting slacks
on women or kilts on Scottish men.
