I had the same problem last year. I ended up taking 3 boys by myself....I
left the outpost two weeks later.... never cancel. :-)
Blessings,
Andy.

Subject: [RR] Pow Wow
All,
Please help me out here
I'm a little dissappionted with some of my Rangers.
We were wanting to take them to pow wow this and had a number
interested a few weeks ago. Tonight and last week interest dropped just
to few a boys and Sr.Commander thought it would be best not to go. Which in
a way I can unnderstand, because our group was buckaroos and had to have
there
fathers. To make a long short the boys was more interested in playing
baseball
then getting a blessing from the Lord.
The Sr.Commander turns tonight, around and makes plans for a outpost
campout for that same Saturday and Sunday. 3/4 of the boys that said they
didn't want to go to pow wow wanted to go on the outpost campout.
What's wrong when a boy don't want to go to pow wow, but yet he can make a
Saturday night outpost campout on that same weekend?
I'm going to pow wow with another Rangers group. The main reason I wanted
to go is Fred Deavers will be our speaker. It's worth the trip just to
hear Fred speak.
The point I'm making is pow wow if for the boys.
