*Day two thoughts..

Rangernet's core group prays for blessings to flow on all Rangers, and
invites those "outside the light of the fire" to share at any time...
It's my opinion that we all share the warmth of one campfire.

Ohio had a very strong show at the National Camp.. In some ways, as in
developing your Ranger campgrounds, you expand the the blessing of Cdr.
Johnnies wonderfull dream of an army of boys serveing Jesus!
As I sat in Commander John's living room surrounded by

*OK.. this woke me up...
Here's why.
We often use "OUR" vision or sight to decide or judge the situation based
on "OUR" ethic or strongly held belief. When we ally or join a small
group,such as Ranger Commander do..
We sometimes "prefere" the success or back our efforts for the
continuation of the "small group" or personal ministry
of friends and self. *That in it's self may not lead to distruction..
But it makes it harder for a shepard to lead his flock, or for the Holy
Spirit to guide us in our walk to the greater goal... It also builds
"exclusiveness" and a shell from outsiders and their ministry and
*vision..
Voteing to disband and leave a church.. is contrary to our Ranger Pledge
to: *With God's help do my best to SERVE GOD- MY CHURCH- and Fellow man..
If you as a Ranger would preach leaveing a campsight cleaner than when you
arrive.. No real Ranger would leave in lockstep, a situation ripe with
discord and strife. *If you do leave..
LEAVE THE OUTPOST ALIVE AND IN GOOD HANDS! *Bless those that follow and
lift them up! We win wars by our GOOD ACTION, not by the tactics of
devistation..
Prayer changes things.. and again! *WE MAY NOT KNOW ALL THE FACTS!
(Wisdom often is the result of waiting too see the true situation
displayed and acting from reason and a good spirit..)
As you serve side by side with someone - much as you do in our
> governments military service - a strong bond is built up, a bond that God's
> own enemy cannot sever. These men have a heart and desire to serve the Lord
> and fullfill our mission to Reach, Teach, and Keep Boy's for Jesus Christ -

> find another avenue to serve. Keep me in prayer as I establish communication
> with the boys of my outpost to try and let them know I will not be there when
> our outpost resumes its meetings next month
*Honorable men will allways do right.. ALLWAYS!
Honorable men can stand inthe light of day and speek the truth!
*but PRIDE.. comes before a fall!
Be very sure that the straw pole that was taken exibited Honor and not
false pride.. The boys are at stake.. and frankly, Commanders are dime a
dozen! Some "Men" we admire have made wrong choices in prefering
"Ministry" to "Family" and over the long haul will pay a dear price..
Your situation may be truely unique... *and of course I may be all wet<G>
Hehehee ...run it by Sonny Green for his .02cents!
(my heart breaks even now again
> as I compose this message- please believe me that resigning was not an easy
> decision to make for myself and my brothers in the Lord - tears were and
> still are being shed.
*consider returning! What would it take?
..seperate fact from fiction, and do the work God calls you to do with joy
and lightness.<G>
I pray that some men from within the church step
> forward to continue on or refer the boys to where we will be serving and not
> allow ego's and church politics get in the way of seeing these boys saved and
> fed the word. Our desire would be no boy lost and I personnally would like to
> field your opinions on how and what to communicate to the Boys without
> slingin mud.
> _______
The boys want a good campout<G>
Do that!
Brother.. this putting down the flesh is hard!
But for our spiritman to soar.. we have to let go!
