God Bless You All,
I have a question that I would like to get your feed back on.
I am aware as leaders we must spend time preparing for the lessons as well as
activities the boys will be involved in. I understand this is a ministry, and
a calling,
but what happens when a commanders says:
" My ministry has taken the place my family should have or I do not have time
to spend with my wife or children as I am to involved in the ministry it just
takes up to much of my time."
You see God is still first, the family should be second then, the ministry.
Rather then sharing in the joy of the ministry the family just responds with
a sigh.
Has the ministry become a mistress? Or has the ministry in the life of this
commander become an instrument of joy to the boys and an instrument of sorrow
for the family.
The reason I write this is because many commanders I have talked to have in
one form or another expressed their concern for this.
Also in time that they should take with their family like vacation they are
away with the outpost and time just goes by and they do not even make it up
to them
So what are your thoughts. If you have answers that can be back up with the
bible I would greatly appreciate it, but all comments welcomed.
God Bless
Mike
