With this new Program I would like to hope that they would revise
and update the ICS program also. It is antiquated. I don't think that a one
day re-briefing is enough for the new program to get the new LMA. LTC will
no doubt be changed, but did they elaborate on just what they intend to do
with it? GPH isn't going to be to happy about going to the new stuff when
they still have the old stuff in stock and it doesn't sell. The old hands
will need a good hands on working knowledge of the ministry and how it is
supposed to work (not that it always works correctly in any situation)
Grandfathering is a nice courtesy to have, however it doesn't replace actual
hands on OJT.
