Parental rights?? This is a communist country. Parental
rights do not exist. Everybody is a ward of the Party.
If Castro wants to take Elian away from his father and
"retrain" him, he will and no one can stop him. Either
way, seems like Castro has one this round. If Elian
stays, then "Look at those horrible Americans keeping
this boy from his father" will be the cry. If he goes,
then "See how weak the Americans are? Look how they cave
in" Its bad timing. Something should have been done 6
months ago. My two cents.
