Fellow Commanders,

After reading the post on this subject(and I did not
intend to entice flames, so if I did I apologize), I
have some observations and questions.

It would seem that other countries have some specific
rules on the Woman leader and Ranger boy relationship
and vice versa on Man leadership and girls. I have no
problem with that and I have no problem with women in
the ranger classroom as I have had women speak to our
Ranger boys. I also observe that Missionettes are not
very active in the other countries.

I have this question for the U.S. leaders.
If we open up leadership to women to the older groups,
would we follow the same guidelines as the other
countries? If so this would include opening up to girls
in Rangers.

My second question is how would this effect the viable
Missionette programs in our churches? This would mean
having to compete with Missionettes and Youth. It is sad
to say, and I mean no disrespect, but I feel that
Missionettes would get the shorter end of the stick.

This is just my observation and opinion. Being Mexican,
I am used to hot stuff so I'm pretty flame resistant
(even though I'd rather not have flames). So all
comments are welcomed. God bless.
