I am a certified B/SA leader, have been for years. Before my illness I was
quite active, and I miss it terribly. Kelly mentioned a couple of things
that rang a bell. We have all daughters and Frapper made sure that he took
them on "dates" many times. Each individual girl was taken out for the
evening and treated perfectly. Then, he instructed them that if a boy did
not treat them as well, she was to not go out with him again. Boys were not
allowed to honk and wait, they had to come in and spend time conversing with
us before they left. I over heard a boy once tell another that if he wanted
to date one of our girls, there was a list a mile long. None of our girls
hurt for dates or attention and they were always treated wonderfully.
Frapper is 6'3" and an ex-cop and had nine yrs. in the USMC. That might have
had something to do with it. <G> Men, Godly men, DO have a lot to offer our
girls. Except for the fact they will look a little silly in the Missionette
uniform. lol Janet
