*No Flames!

We are Rangers!

What a relief !

But they might be activated now by somebody after reading the following.

I know it is a touchy subject with my US-Ranger friends.

But he thought hit me today that all this girls-in-Rangers-or-not stuff,
does the US-arrangement not resemble some type of apartheid thinking ?
It took a long and painful time in the US to get away from the segregation
issue - see Birmingham Alabama and such, and it seems that this train of
thought is still prevelant, only this time it seems to be stuck with RR's.
I understand that the RR's emerged from the mens ministry and is still an
arm of it in the US.
Yet could this not be reconsidered and allow the woman into RR's right up to
Trail Rangers ?
What is the problem ?
We do it succesfully for as long as the RR's are in Germany and will
continue to do so.
Actually the RR's where tried out first at OP #1 in Bremen by a fine lady by
the name of Britta Oberpaur. Her husband is now sectional leader of northern
Germany.
Her positive hands-on-report kicked off Rangers in Germany.

We have woman trainers at NTC, JLTC and so on.

Following the posts of Cmdr. Jen makes me envious. She would be a great
asset over here in Germany and I would greatly appreciate it if she could be
a trainer on my next NTT in September in Luxembourg.

Please forgive me for bringing this (again?) up for I know how often this
subject took up space on RR-net.
But I could not resist sharing my thoughts.

And if you use the flame thrower on me please do it professionally.

Because of Jesus
