All   A good friend of mine is a SA Commander and has been for a long time. Today her 16 year old son went to court and was found guilty of pre-meditated grievous bodily harm. I do not excuse his behaviour but the assault he carried out was in response to a beating he received which the school (and, unfortunately, his parents - but hindsight is a wonderful thing) failed to do anything about. The parents of the boy he assaulted (with a metal bar) made no such mistake. He has to go back for sentencing. I am tempted to ask that he will not receive a custodial sentence but I would rather that God's will be done and that it is part of the path leading to a restoration. The boy, Paul, was a ranger from Rainbows to Trail Ranger and has fallen away. Please pray for his mother, also, I'm sure you ladies can empathise with her. (BTW this is his first offence).   BoW
