*The stated goal of the restructure is to increase the
abilities of small churches to provide the man-power
needed by tasking out (breaking down the learning
curve for leaders) that currently prohibits recruitment
of new leaders.
Also, the goal is to meet the Pastoral demands for a
"more church friendly" Royal Ranger Outpost. And that
will bring new leaders.
The net result should be an increase in the numbers of
new Outposts and if true... will restore some of the
competition and involvement in multi-Outpost activities.
*One drawback...
----------------
Is with the "Old Time" Ranger who remembers the way it used
to be, and stumbles in welcoming change. The lessons learned
in leading the boys to real leadership... are the same in
welcomeing fresh adults to our fellowship.
*If we can shift in attitude from a dominate Sr.Cdr. who
"Commands- this is the way it will be" to a methiod of
group leadership by working to a aggreeable *goal.. or
*mission then involvement as well as morale will raise,
and we will succeed!
The "NEW" Ranger program will have planed segments and be
more visual with it's circular and liner curriculum. Thus,
in a "local" setting a 'voice will come from a unified lesson
plan and we will be drawn to be more alike than on our own.
Chartering in the future would support this effort...
